Queer Hillel provides a forum for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, and queer students. The twin goals of Queer Hillel as an “identity group” are to demonstrate that Hillel is a safe space for LGBTQ individuals and to build community.
The Next Thing is a confidential support and discussion space for self-identified bisexual, gay, lesbian, queer, questioning, transgender, and two-spirit people of color.
GLAAM is a student organization geared towards improving the healthcare for lgbtq people and is a place where lgbtq medical students and their allies work together to make their own voices heard in the medical community. We aim to address the health concerns specific to the lgbtq community and recognize that unbiased healthcare is a patient’s right. In addition, lgbtq-identified providers face a different set of concerns than those being addressed by mainstream medical education. GLAAM is dedicated to dialogue, advocacy and action on these fronts.
