Gays, Lesbians and Allies Advancing Medicine (GLAAM)

GLAAM is a student organization geared towards improving the healthcare for lgbtq people and is a place where lgbtq medical students and their allies work together to make their own voices heard in the medical community.  We aim to address the health concerns specific to the lgbtq community and recognize that unbiased healthcare is a patient’s right.  In addition, lgbtq-identified providers face a different set of concerns than those being addressed by mainstream medical education.  GLAAM is dedicated to dialogue, advocacy and action on these fronts.
